The Private Wealth Team
The Private Wealth Team in Richmond has earned recognition in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for the quality of its service. The team advises predominantly high-net-worth individuals (typically with assets between £5m-£20m) across a wide range of private client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Lifetime and succession planning
• Estate administration
• Creation, administration, and winding up of trusts

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients to deliver tailored, strategic advice and to build long-standing, trusted relationships.

The Role
The successful candidate will:

• Manage a varied caseload of private wealth matters independently
• Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients, many of whom may be navigating sensitive or challenging circumstances
• Support and mentor junior lawyers and trainees within the team
• Play an active role in business development and marketing initiatives

Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking:

• A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in private wealth / private client law
• Ideally 4-7 years' experience managing a caseload independently
• Strong technical expertise in wills, probate, trusts, tax, and estate planning
• Excellent communication skills, with empathy and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• An interest in business development and helping grow the team's profile
