A well-established and respected regional law firm is seeking a motivated and personable Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their busy Private Client team based in Christcurch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive with 6+ years' PQE and proven leadership skills to develop their career in a supportive environment, managing a varied caseload and contributing to a thriving team known for excellent client service.

The Role
The successful candidate will handle a caseload comprising Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), probate, and tax planning matters. They will provide clear, jargon-free advice, maintain strong client relationships, collaborate with colleagues across departments, and support business development initiatives.
The role also includes people management and team-building responsibilities, contributing to the continued growth and success of the team.

Essential Qualities
The ideal applicant will possess:

• Qualification as a Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) with 6+ years' PQE
• Experience in people management and team building
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, conveying information accurately and articulately both verbally and in writing
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
• Initiative to generate new ideas and develop original solutions
• Skill in anticipating clients' future needs and identifying opportunities for other teams, making appropriate introductions
• Commitment to returning client calls promptly
• Confidence in meeting new clients and winning new business
• A consultative approach, focusing on promoting the firm's service and values rather than competing on price alone, with a dedication to following up on viable enquiries
