Private Client Partner or Senior Solicitor (5+ PQE) - London & Brighton
Location: London or Brighton (with regular travel between offices)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive market rate (DOE)

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Private Client Partner or Senior Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to lead and nurture its Private Client department across the London and Brighton offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, people-focused lawyer who enjoys building strong relationships and guiding others to achieve their potential.

The Role
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload while helping to shape and expand the Private Client team. Key responsibilities include:

• Meeting with clients to take instructions and providing clear, empathetic advice.

• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, including those involving complex estates.

• Administering estates and overseeing estate accounts.

• Advising on Court of Protection matters with sensitivity and care.

• Supporting and developing a team that currently includes a Senior Solicitor in London, a Probate Executive in Brighton, and junior colleagues.

• Helping the department grow through client relationships, reputation, and business development.

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE, ideally with some leadership experience.

• Skilled in Wills, LPAs, estate administration, and Court of Protection work.

• Comfortable supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues.

• Collaborative and approachable, with excellent communication skills.

• Commercially aware while keeping client care and trust at the centre of your practice.

• A following is not required but would be welcomed.
