Power BI Developer - Central London Hybrid - Government - SC Clearance - 6 months - inside IR35

I have an urgent opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join an ongoing programme with a public sector client in central London. This is a six-month contract, inside IR35, with a hybrid working pattern of two to three days onsite each week.

Due to the urgency and sensitivity of the project, active SC clearance and sole British Nationality is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
• Translating complex data sets into clear and practical insights
• Working with business users to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Ensuring data accuracy, integrity and consistency across reporting outputs
• Working with data engineers, analysts and wider business stakeholders
• Supporting and enhancing existing BI solutions where required

Skills and experience required:

• Strong hands-on Power BI development experience
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M) and data modelling
• Solid SQL skills including query optimisation and integration with Power BI
• Understanding of data governance, quality and BI best practices
• Ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Previous public sector experience (desirable)
• Active SC clearance (highly desirable)
