Responsibilities

Advise on all aspects of DB and DC occupational pension schemes, including investment strategies, de-risking, consolidators, master trusts, and pensions litigation.

Manage high-profile client matters, providing technical and commercial guidance, and building strong client relationships.

Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, supporting their professional development within a collaborative team.

Keep up-to-date with regulatory and industry developments, contributing to shaping pensions law and policy.

Work closely with colleagues across employment, corporate, and regulatory teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects.
Requirements

Qualified pensions lawyer with 4-7 years' post-qualification experience, with strong expertise in Defined Benefit schemes; experience with Defined Contribution schemes is desirable.

Proven ability to manage complex matters independently, demonstrating commercial awareness and technical precision.

Excellent client management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in mentoring or supervising junior lawyers in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, client-focused approach.
