A boutique, well-established law firm based in Aldgate, London, is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) to join its thriving residential conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to gain hands-on experience and develop within a supportive and high-performing environment.
The successful candidate will assist in managing a busy caseload of residential property transactions, while receiving direct mentorship from experienced solicitors. This is a hybrid role, with a flexible balance between office-based collaboration and remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling a full range of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, lease extensions, and remortgages
- Conduct legal research, draft contracts, and prepare completion statements
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors to ensure smooth transaction progress
- Manage client expectations with clarity and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and internal policies
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ) in England & Wales
- Previous experience (including training seat) in residential conveyancing
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive and client-focused approach
