NQ Construction Disputes Associate

About the Role

A leading international firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Construction Disputes Associate to join its London office. The team advises across major commercial development, infrastructure, data centre, energy and high‑end residential projects, handling a wide range of contentious construction matters including defects, delay, payment disputes, professional negligence and PFI/PPP‑related claims.

You will take on early responsibility, supporting partners and senior lawyers in litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation, with significant client contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, correspondence and research notes
• Assist with strategy, evidence preparation and hearings
• Manage deadlines across multiple matters
• Support business development and client-facing initiatives

About You

• Newly Qualified (or qualifying soon)
• Training experience in construction, commercial litigation or related areas
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Commercial awareness and interest in construction, engineering and infrastructure sectors
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high attention to detail
