Responsibilities

• Advise on strategic partnerships, bancassurance arrangements, and complex insurance products.

• Draft and negotiate distribution, outsourcing, and reinsurance agreements, including captive programmes.

• Provide guidance on FCA and PRA regulatory matters, including cross-border regulatory issues.

• Support insurance business transfers, M&A transactions, and renewal rights deals for insurer and non-insurer clients.

• Collaborate with Corporate, Financial Services, and broader Regulation teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE, ideally with experience in insurance regulation and non-contentious insurance work.

• Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness, with the ability to manage client relationships independently.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work across multiple insurance product lines.

• Collaborative mindset and flexibility to operate in a cross-border, multi-team environment.
