Senior Business Development Manager (Mid Market)
London (Remote)
£70-75, 000 + OTE
We're looking for a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager, for out telco/connectivity client to drive growth across multiple sectors within their Mid-Market sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead New Business development initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and expand our presence nationally. You'll work with a diverse network of partners and leverage extensive resources to deliver tailored solutions that meet todays and future customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development to secure and grow new opportunities in key markets
- Identify and engage prospects via cold calls, emails, social media, and events
- Share relevant content to build brand awareness and credibility
- Conduct discovery calls to qualify prospects and understand their needs
- Manage pipeline effectively, balancing immediate opportunities and long-term nurturing
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and updates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, partners, and stakeholders
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Cultivate strategic partnerships to boost market reach and revenue
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams to align sales strategies
What You'll Bring:
- Proven success in winning telecom or technology sales with mid to large national businesses
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Commercial acumen with a focus on revenue-driving KPIs
- Experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations and fast-paced environments
- Resilience and a relentless drive to meet and exceed sales targets despite challenges
