Network & Security Engineer

Location: South West, London (Hybrid Working - Typically 2 Days WFH, Occasionally 3)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network & Security Engineer to join a collaborative Network & Security team supporting a large enterprise environment.

This role offers an excellent mix of project delivery with an element of BAU support, giving you exposure to enterprise networking, network security, cloud connectivity and infrastructure transformation initiatives. What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting, maintaining and enhancing the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Delivering a variety of network and security infrastructure projects.
• Managing and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, wireless and VPN environments.
• Supporting next-generation firewall platforms and secure network access.
• Working across data centre, cloud and branch office connectivity.
• Monitoring network performance and resolving complex network and security incidents.
• Working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver technical improvements.
• Maintaining network documentation and supporting change management activities.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working within an Enterprise Networking environment or a technically complex MSP.
• Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Experience supporting Network Security technologies and next-generation firewalls.
• Exposure to Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Check Point or Fortinet firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across enterprise networking environments.
• Experience delivering both infrastructure projects and BAU support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
