Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of clinical negligence claims, including litigated matters, across areas such as obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology, and psychiatric care.

• Provide accurate, empathetic legal advice to clients while maintaining high standards of client service.

• Collaborate with senior colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to support complex, high-value claims.

• Draft legal documents, prepare witness statements, and manage all procedural requirements using relevant case management systems.

• Contribute to strategic case planning and participate in team discussions to ensure seamless, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years PQE in clinical negligence, with a focus on claimant work.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value claims and litigated matters independently.

• Strong client advisory and technical legal skills, with an empathetic and collaborative approach.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a specialist team.

• Professional qualification in law (Solicitor) with relevant clinical negligence expertise.
