Materials Systems Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Materials Systems Analyst to support spare parts operations by ensuring ERP system integrity, analysing data, and improving operational efficiency. This role combines systems administration, data analysis, and user support across a European supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ERP system integrity through data alignment and enforcement of processing rules
• Monitor ERP transactions and EDI networks, identifying and resolving errors
• Analyse data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain automated controls and scheduled data processes
• Produce and manage accurate reports for operational and management teams
• Support order processing, logistics, and planning teams with data and insights
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and global projects
• Collaborate with international stakeholders, including Global InfoSec where required

Skills and Experience

• Degree in a technical or business-related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, BaaN or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and overall proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or SAP BI
• Understanding of EDI concepts (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly
• Understanding of supply chain and distribution operations
• Additional European language skills are advantageous
