Materials Systems Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a Materials Systems Analyst to support spare parts operations by ensuring ERP system integrity, analysing data, and improving operational efficiency. This role combines systems administration, data analysis, and user support across a European supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ERP system integrity through data alignment and enforcement of processing rules
- Monitor ERP transactions and EDI networks, identifying and resolving errors
- Analyse data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain automated controls and scheduled data processes
- Produce and manage accurate reports for operational and management teams
- Support order processing, logistics, and planning teams with data and insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and global projects
- Collaborate with international stakeholders, including Global InfoSec where required
Skills and Experience
- Degree in a technical or business-related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, BaaN or similar)
- Strong Excel skills and overall proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or SAP BI
- Understanding of EDI concepts (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly
- Understanding of supply chain and distribution operations
- Additional European language skills are advantageous
