Contract Java Developer (Inside IR35) | SC & NPPV3

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Java Developer with active SC AND NPPV3 clearance to join a critical project on a long-term contract. This is a crucial role for a candidate who can hit the ground running and contribute to a significant public sector programme.

Key Information

• IR35 Status: Inside IR35

• Duration: 6-12 month initial contract

• Location: Remote, with required travel to London once a month.

• Security Clearance: You must hold an active SCAND NPPV3 clearance.

The Role

You will be a key member of a development team, responsible for designing and implementing high-performance back-end services. This role requires deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be working with a modern tech stack to deliver a new solution for a high-profile client.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive commercial experience with Java 8+.

• Proven expertise with RDBMS, specifically designing schemas and optimising complex SQL queries.

• Strong background in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for streaming data and event-driven systems.

• Experience with Spring Boot and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
