IT Support Analyst - Contract Role (Immediate Start)

We're seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to join on a contract basis, with an immediate start. This hands-on role involves providing both in-person and remote desktop support across multiple UK sites, while also assisting with broader infrastructure activities as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support for on-site and remote users across UK locations
• Monitor and manage incident tickets, prioritising workload in coordination with IT team leads
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues; escalate where appropriate
• Fulfil service requests (Moves, Adds, Changes) within defined SLAs
• Offer technical support across Microsoft OS, Office applications, and Citrix environments
• Assist with telephony (mobile and fixed), server, and network tasks as directed
• Perform IT asset management: receipt, tracking, disposal, and audits
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets
• Support implementation of new IT solutions across the business
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal users and act as a key point of contact
• Collect and act on user feedback to help improve IT service delivery

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven background in IT support within a customer-facing environment
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows OS and Office Suite
• Familiarity with Citrix client environments and IT ticketing systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of LAN and IP Telephony is desirable

• Works independently on routine tasks and follows established processes
• Prioritises workload effectively with minimal supervision
• Takes initiative while escalating decisions that impact wider teams
