IT Delivery Manager - Commerical Services - Procurement - 6 month contract - SC Clearance

Are you a Commercial IT Delivery Manager looking for a new project?

I have a new contract opportunity for someone to join an ongoing programme of work with our public sector client in London.

You will lead the delivery of commercial IT projects within a government environment, with a clear focus on value for money and robust procurement. This role exists to provide dedicated commercial delivery capacity on an ongoing programme, ensuring projects align with departmental objectives and government procurement standards.

You will be working on:

• Managing end-to-end commercial IT project delivery in line with team and departmental goals
• Driving procurement activity, ensuring compliance with government processes and best practice
• Managing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
• Applying knowledge of Crown Commercial Frameworks to improve procurement outcomes
• Overseeing contracts and commercial terms as part of project delivery
• Using e-sourcing tools to run procurements and manage competitions
• Working closely with colleagues across the team to deliver agreed outcomes

What you'll need

• Demonstrable experience delivering commercial IT projects in a government setting
• Strong working knowledge of government procurement processes and best practice
• Experience of contracts management in an IT/commercial context
• Ability to manage and engage suppliers effectively
• Proficiency with e-sourcing portals
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
• Clear, confident communication and stakeholder skills
• Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently

Due to the nature and urgency of the work, successful candidates will ideally be a sole British National with active SC clearance.
