About this role
A prestigious, top-tier law firm is seeking a confident and experienced Mid-Level Intellectual Property Associate to join its rapidly growing London-based IP team.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work within a well-respected, global IP practice that supports a diverse and high-profile client base across sectors such as life sciences, technology, digital, and consumer goods. The work is intellectually stimulating and varied, covering the full spectrum of IP, including litigation, strategic counselling, multi-jurisdictional licensing, enforcement, freedom to operate, and prosecution.
You'll be part of a collaborative and friendly team that has nearly doubled in size over the past two years, and is a strategic growth priority for the firm - both in the UK and internationally. The IP group works seamlessly across jurisdictions, regularly partnering with colleagues from international offices to deliver unified, global solutions to complex client challenges.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience across both contentious and non-contentious IP matters, strong legal acumen, a commercial approach, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. Enthusiasm for cross-sector work and a proactive, team-driven attitude are key.
The Firm:
-
A genuinely international platform with over 30 offices worldwide.
-
A non-hierarchical, inclusive culture that values collaboration, innovation, and diversity.
-
Strong focus on lawyer development, with tailored training, coaching, and mentorship from day one.
-
Opportunities to support cross-practice work, including corporate/M&A, antitrust, and technology-focused mandates.
-
A culture that encourages broad-based career growth rather than narrow specialisation.
-
Access to cutting-edge, headline-making work in rapidly evolving industries.
This is a rare opportunity for a mid-level IP lawyer to join a firm where IP is a global priority, and where you'll be empowered to grow your expertise and make a tangible impact within a leading international team.
