International Arbitration Solicitor

A leading London-based disputes resolution law firm is looking for an ambitious International Arbitration Associate (2+ years' PQE) to join its market-leading arbitration and litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor to work on complex, high-value cross-border disputes with an international client base.

The International Arbitration department focuses exclusively on heavyweight disputes, all involving cross-border elements such as foreign laws, international arbitration seats, and overseas clients and co-counsel. The team is active in both commercial and investment treaty arbitration across jurisdictions including the UK, India, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States.

The Role:

• Acting on major international commercial arbitration cases, including ICC, LCIA, ICSID and UNCITRAL proceedings.
• Advising corporate clients, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals and sovereign states on cross-border disputes.
• Handling arbitration-related court litigation in the UK, including award enforcement and challenges.
• Developing expertise in both commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration.
• Engaging in business development, networking, and legal know-how projects within the disputes practice.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Solid track record in international arbitration and/or cross-border commercial disputes.
• Exposure to investment treaty arbitration is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent academics, strong drafting and legal analysis skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
