Responsibilities

• Advise insurers, Lloyd's Syndicates, MGAs, corporate clients, and public bodies on insurance coverage, liability defence, subrogated recoveries, and policy wording issues.

• Handle FOS and Lloyd's complaints, providing practical solutions and strategic guidance.

• Deliver training, mentoring, and guidance to junior colleagues, supporting team development.

• Collaborate across teams to manage property, business interruption, casualty, fine art & specie, and liability matters.

• Support business development initiatives through client engagement and contribution to high-profile matters.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in insurance disputes, including coverage, liability, and claims handling across multiple insurance lines.

• Proven ability to advise insurers, Lloyd's Syndicates, MGAs, corporate clients, or public bodies on complex matters.

• Strong mentoring and training skills, with experience supporting team growth and collaboration.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to client service.

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent, with experience in a top-tier Legal 500 law firm for Insurance and Reinsurance preferred.
