About this role

We are urgently seeking an experienced Information Security Regulatory Support Lead to join a global organisation and help drive their regulatory readiness across the EMAP region. This is a critical role focused on ensuring compliance with key regulations, particularly NIS2, and supporting broader regulatory governance initiatives.

The Role:

As the Information Security Regulatory Support Lead, you will take ownership of the day-to-day regulatory support efforts. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to assess technical and organisational controls, gather essential evidence, and ensure adherence to security policies and standards. This is a hands-on position where you will lead activities, produce progress reports, and help navigate complex regulatory landscapes such as NIS2, DORA, and the CRA.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and managing support activities for NIS2 readiness and regulatory assurance.

  • Assessing current security policies, standards, and technical environments against applicable regulations.

  • Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver required outcomes.

  • Coordinating NIS2 registrations and incident reporting readiness.

  • Documenting the regulatory posture, identifying gaps, and managing risks.

  • Providing regular progress updates to the EMAP Information Security Regulatory Governance Specialist.

Your Background:

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in Information Security or Information Technology.

  • Demonstrable experience performing IT/Information Systems & Information Security Governance Auditing.

  • Professional certification is essential (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).

  • Strong familiarity with industry standards and frameworks like NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

  • Working knowledge of current and emerging regulations in the EMAP region (NIS2, DORA etc.).

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.
