Head of Residential

Lead a respected residential property team with the freedom to shape the service, grow the office, and develop talented lawyers. Join a law firm that values expertise, collaboration, and personal service. You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a busy residential property department. You'll oversee transactions, maintain strong links with referrers, and ensure the team delivers excellent client care using modern systems and a supportive approach.
Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing a team handling residential conveyancing from instruction to completion
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with local estate agents and other referrers of work
• Overseeing workloads and performance to meet financial targets while maintaining quality
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

We're Looking For

• A qualified Solicitor with strong residential property and conveyancing experience, ideally 5PQE+
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage a busy department
• Excellent technical knowledge, with a focus on accuracy and client care
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners
• A collaborative approach and confidence in using systems and processes effectively
