Ready to use your power systems engineering expertise to make an impact?
My client is looking for a GE PowerOn Advantage (PoA) Solution Consultant to support SCADA architecture deployment and PoA integration systems for a leading utilities company.

What You'll Do

• Test and configure PoA functionalities across SCADA, DMS, and OMS systems.
• Deliver end-to-end product deployment from planning to operations.
• Prepare detailed documentation for GE ADMS upgrades and system roadmaps.
• Configure SOAP services, databases, and application servers.
• Develop reports using Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder.
• Ensure replication and performance across application, proxy, and report servers.
• Engage directly with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Support vendor evaluation and integration with OT systems (e.g., AMI, WFM, PI Historian).

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with PowerOn Advantage application and architecture.
• Hands-on configuration of SCADA, DMS, OMS modules.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Shell, Perl, or PFL scripting.
• Background in system integration and multi-vendor environments.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux servers, IT & OT security standards, and PoA cartography.

Desirable:

• Experience with electric utility distribution, DERMS/DRMS/ADMS/OMS/SCADA solutions.
• Knowledge of distributed generation, energy storage, and power system controls.
• Ability to assess client operations and adapt tools to evolving OT applications.
