French speaking Project Manager / Business Analyst (L&C Regulatory Delivery)
London (Predominantly remote with some travel to Belgum/Madrid)
£450/475 p/d (Inside IR35)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst to lead large, complex regulatory compliance initiatives within a hybrid working environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding or interest in Legal & Compliance (L&C). You will drive critical projects from initiation through delivery, collaborating with global business and IT teams using Agile and Waterfall methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of prioritized L&C regulatory initiatives across Europe
- Gather and analyse business requirements; document processes and solutions
- Coordinate feasibility studies and identify improvement opportunities
- Engage senior leadership and stakeholders, managing escalation and governance
- Chair steering committees, ensuring project scope, budget, timeline, and readiness
- Manage virtual, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, and foster team accountability and development
- Drive continuous process improvement and best practice project management
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership across diverse cultures
- Proactive, can-do attitude with strong ownership
- Advanced MS Office and project management tool proficiency
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, negotiate, and manage political complexity
- Cross-cultural agility and motivational skills to drive high team performance
- Proven track record in delivering large digital/regulatory transformation programs
- Experience with global virtual teams and senior stakeholder communication
- Skilled in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control
- Strong technology fluency and change management experience
Project Scope Highlights:
- Define FSMA regulatory requirements and compliance processes
- Manage PCP/VVD certification for multiple regions including Spain
- Coordinate training development and implementation for regulatory accreditation
- Regular progress reporting and stakeholder updates
Languages:
Fluent English and French (spoken and written) are mandatory and any Spanish or Flemish would be advantageous.
