Are you an experienced Accountant, Cost Modeller, or Financial Analyst with a strong background in public sector finance? We have an immediate 5-month full-time contract opportunity for a skilled Financial Modeller to join our client's team.

Our client, a prominent organisation within the public sector, requires a dedicated professional to develop a comprehensive 10-year-plus financial model. This critical project will adhere strictly to HM Treasury's Green Book principles, providing robust financial insights to support key decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Financial Modeller, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a detailed 10-year-plus financial model in line with HM Treasury's Green Book guidance.

• Assessing costs accurately based on the Operating Model Design.

• Quantifying and assessing benefits derived from the model.

• Producing comprehensive Cost Models and Full Business Case (FBC) output tables.

• Clearly differentiating between Opex (Operating Expenditure) and Capex (Capital Expenditure) within the model.

• Ensuring the rigorous application of Green Book principles throughout the modelling process.

• Demonstrable experience in public sector budgeting and business cases.

• A proven track record in financial modelling, cost modelling, or financial analysis.

• In-depth knowledge and practical application of HM Treasury's Green Book principles.
