Henderson Scott are seeking a skilled finance professional looking to advance their career and play a key role in the growth of a UK finance team. My client is expanding their finance function and seeking an experienced Finance Manager to help drive financial excellence and support strategic growth.

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and leading financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, budget management, and compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, guide, and develop a finance team, conducting performance reviews and identifying growth opportunities.
• Assist with budget preparation, monitor financial transactions, and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational standards.
• Support strategic financial planning and risk management efforts alongside senior finance leadership.
• Oversee invoicing, cash flow, payroll reconciliations, and daily bank reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end and management accounts, including detailed reporting, fixed asset management, VAT returns, and year-end reconciliations.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit processes, maintaining financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Skills and Experience:

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of tax and financial regulations

Salary:

£55,000 - £60,000 plus hybrid working - 2 days in office
