Finance Assistant - Property

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team on a 6-month contract, supporting the finance function within a busy commercial/residential property environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in property finance, excellent Excel skills, and hands-on experience using property management systems such as Yardi or Horizon.

You will play a key role in data entry, reporting, and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions and records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain accurate financial data related to property income, expenses, and service charges
• Perform data entry and validation tasks across property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Horizon)
• Prepare and issue tenant billing, including rent, service charges, and ad hoc invoices
• Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Generate and maintain financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Excellent Excel skills

This is an umbrella only contract and requires 3 days per week on client site in central London.
