Family Solicitor / CILEX - Reading (Lower Earley)

A well-established and client-focused law firm in Reading is seeking a confident and personable Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join its supportive Divorce & Family Law team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family lawyer who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, is comfortable managing a caseload independently, and is looking to further develop their career within a highly regarded and community-oriented firm.

The Role
The successful candidate will take on a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters including:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private law Children Act matters
• Cohabitation and other relationship breakdown issues

There will also be opportunities to contribute to the department's continued growth and success, and to gain exposure to complex, high-value cases.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 2+ years' PQE in private family law
• Strong technical knowledge with experience running matters from start to finish
• Excellent communication, client care and interpersonal skills
• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Keen to stay up to date with developments in family law and best practices
• Comfortable taking responsibility for their own caseload and supporting colleagues where needed
