The Role - Family Solicitor - Care Proceedings / Children Panel Accredited

• Handle a busy caseload of public law children matters, including care and supervision proceedings

• Represent children, parents, and guardians in the Family Court

• Collaborate with CAFCASS, local authorities, and expert witnesses to build strong cases

• Prepare and manage Legal Aid applications in line with Legal Aid Agency requirements

• Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients facing complex and sensitive legal issues

We're Looking For

• A qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in family law

• Children Panel Accreditation - essential, or nearing completion

• Proven experience in care proceedings and public children law

• Confident advocacy skills and experience in Family Court settings

• Strong working knowledge of legal aid systems, compliance, and billing

• A supportive, client-focused mindset and excellent communication skills
