Family Solicitor

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

A well-regarded law firm in Basingstoke is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE to manage a varied caseload and progress within a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role

Advising on a broad range of family matters, including:

• Divorce & Separation

• Financial Remedy Proceedings

• Private Children Work (Contact and Residence)

• Pre- and Post-Nuptial Agreements

• Separation Agreements and Cohabitation Disputes

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing your own caseload

• Ensuring compliance with Resolution, SRA, and regulatory standards

• Mentoring and delegating work to support staff

• Assisting with business development and client engagement

• Attending firm or external events/seminars as required

Experience as a collaborative lawyer and/or mediator is desirable but not essential.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE in family law

• Strong technical skills in privately funded family matters

• Excellent communication and client care abilities

• Proactive, organised, and professional

• Ability to maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business growth
