Managing Employment Associate - Leading International Firm

The Role

This role involves significant client contact, and the autonomy to run matters while receiving dedicated support for career growth. The role spans the full spectrum of employment law:

• HR advisory
• Tribunal & High Court litigation
• Transactional support
• Complex investigations

You will also play an active part in client development, delivering training, mentoring junior lawyers, and shaping team strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft concise, high‑quality documentation
• Manage litigation with Counsel where needed
• Support corporate transactions with employment expertise
• Build strong relationships across the firm and with clients
• Deliver internal/external training and contribute to thought leadership (articles, podcasts, alerts)
• Use and help optimise the firm's AI‑enhanced legal tools
• Supervise and develop junior lawyers
• Maintain excellent file, time and billing management

Requirements

• 5-8 PQE UK Qualified Employment Solicitor
• Strong track record in employment law across advisory, contentious and transactional matters
• Commercial mindset with genuine enthusiasm for business development
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage matters proactively
