About this role
This is a respondent‑only employment law role offering exposure to a broad range of employer‑side matters. You'll work across:
- Contentious and non‑contentious advisory work
- TUPE, restructures, redundancy programmes
- Discrimination, whistleblowing and dismissal cases
- Employment tribunals and general HR advisory support
You'll be advising a diverse and interesting employer client base:
- Education institutions (schools, colleges, academies)
- Retail chains and national commercial employers
- Public‑sector bodies (local authorities, police, healthcare trusts)
- Private‑sector companies across varied industries
- Charities and third‑sector organisations
We're looking for an associate who is:
- 1+ PQE in employment law (respondent‑side experience preferred)
- Comfortable handling both contentious and advisory matters
- Someone who values a healthy, politics‑free, human working culture
- Interested in a firm with clear, structured progression and exceptional team support
