About this role

Employment Associate - Leading London Practice

A standout opportunity to join a high‑reputation London practice known for its sophisticated employment work, long‑established client relationships, and a genuine ability to offer lawyers breadth, depth, and real progression. This is a team recognised for high‑quality advisory work, complex disputes, and expertise at partnership and senior‑executive level without the anonymity or rigidity of a large City machine.

The Role

You'll work across a genuinely varied, high‑calibre caseload, including:

  • Contentious and advisory employment matters
  • Discrimination, whistleblowing, misconduct, unfair dismissal and restrictive covenant issues
  • Partnership and LLP disputes
  • Senior executive exits, board-level issues and sensitive internal investigations
  • Corporate support for major transactions and restructures
  • Opportunities to lead client relationships early and develop your own practice profile

It's the kind of role that gives you both intellectual challenge and a platform to grow.

Client Base

The team's clients are diverse, sophisticated, and consistently engaging, including:

  • Major employers across real estate, finance, education, charities, and technology
  • Senior executives, partners, founders, and board directors
  • Organisations handling high‑stakes HR, regulatory and governance issues
  • Clients seeking strategic advice on risk, policy, restructuring and people strategy

Requirements

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • 1-4 PQE UK Qualified Employment Solicitor
  • Exposure to both respondent and/or claimant work
  • The ability to handle contentious and advisory matters with commercial judgement
  • An interest in partnership law, senior executive work, or developing a niche

If you want a role where you're trusted early, supported properly, and encouraged to build a long‑term career as a specialist, this is one of the rare teams that offers it.
