The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Advising clients on day-to-day employment law issues and strategic workforce matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, service agreements, policies and related employment documentation.
  • Supporting corporate transactions, restructurings and TUPE-related matters.
  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues.
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims and employment-related disputes.
  • Advising senior executives on employment, incentive and departure arrangements.
  • Working directly with partners and clients across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions.

About You

Candidates should:

  • Be qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales with between 1 and 4 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Have gained strong employment law experience at a leading City, national or specialist employment practice.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical skills and strong drafting ability.
  • Be commercially minded with a client-focused approach.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

The Opportunity

This fixed-term role offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected employment practice, working on complex and varied matters for a sophisticated client base. The position would suit a motivated associate looking to broaden their experience within a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
