Responsibilities

• Manage a complex D&O and FI insurance caseload, providing clear, authoritative advice on coverage issues under D&O, FI, crime, BBB, and management liability policies.

• Act as a trusted point of contact for leading insurer clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering commercially-focused solutions.

• Collaborate closely with national and international specialists across multiple practice areas and offices.

• Keep technical knowledge current on market developments and ensure compliance with firm protocols for billing and file management.

• Contribute proactively to team growth, strategy, and the development of junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience in a specialist insurance practice or in-house at a financial lines insurer.

• Strong client-handling skills with the ability to deliver technically robust and commercially pragmatic advice.

• Experience managing complex D&O and FI policy matters, ideally including secondment experience with a leading financial lines insurer.

• Demonstrated independence, adaptability, and capacity to contribute effectively to high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
