Director of Infrastructure - Hampshire - Excellent Salary + Benefits!
We're seeking a visionary Director of Infrastructure to lead the strategy, operations, and future development of enterprise technology infrastructure. This is a senior leadership role that plays a critical part in enabling business transformation through secure, scalable, and high-performing technology environments.
About the Role
As Director of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end performance, security, and reliability of the organisation's infrastructure - including data centres, networks, cloud platforms, and associated systems. You'll drive forward infrastructure strategy, ensure operational excellence, and enable the business to scale through innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development & execution of infrastructure strategies and multi-year roadmaps.

Ensure high availability and resilience of all technology infrastructure, with proactive monitoring and early-warning systems.

Oversee critical infrastructure platforms including O365, Cloud environments, data networks, and server/storage operations.

Develop, lead, and grow high-performing infrastructure teams and service management functions.

Own incident response processes and serve as the escalation lead for Priority 1 and 2 infrastructure incidents.

Create and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), service catalogues, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Manage non-production environments and test strategies to support business change.

Deliver robust financial management, including capital planning and return on investment for infrastructure initiatives.

Drive forward operational governance, compliance, and business continuity practices.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills

Proven leadership in a live technology operational environment.

Demonstrated success in delivering infrastructure strategies and services at scale.

Experience in managing blended sourcing models and third-party vendors.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, networks, and enterprise technology systems.

Track record of leading technical teams, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications

Degree in a relevant field such as Business Management or Computer Science.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Lean Six Sigma).
