Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-value motor, employer, and public liability claims on behalf of insurer and corporate clients, supporting case strategy and delivering client-focused outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with Partners, senior colleagues, insurers, and expert witnesses, contributing to cross-border and high-profile matters.

  • Draft reports, legal correspondence, and case documents while ensuring compliance with firm and client standards.

  • Support efficient case management, leveraging technology and process solutions to drive effective outcomes for complex litigation.

  • Participate in structured mentoring and professional development opportunities to enhance technical expertise and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years' experience in defendant personal injury or catastrophic injury work, with exposure to motor, employer, or public liability claims.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, commercially aware legal advice.

  • Organised, collaborative, and able to manage large, complex cases under guidance from senior lawyers.

  • Interest in developing a specialist technical reputation in catastrophic injury litigation.

  • Legal qualification and eligibility to practise in England and Wales.
