We are currently supporting a major Financial Services client on a large-scale data and technology remediation programme and are looking to engage an experienced Technical Product Owner / Product Manager.

This is not a traditional business-facing Product Owner role. The successful candidate will come from a strong technology and data background and be comfortable operating across technical delivery, architecture and business stakeholder environments.

The ideal candidate will be capable of bridging the gap between architects, developers, remediation SMEs and senior business stakeholders within a complex FS delivery programme.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and prioritise the product backlog across multiple delivery workstreams
* Translate business and remediation requirements into clear delivery priorities and user stories
* Work closely with architects, developers and engineering teams to support technical delivery decisions
* Act as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders
* Support delivery of data-driven remediation and regulatory solutions
* Drive stakeholder engagement across technology, operations and business functions
* Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement and reviews
* Ensure delivery aligns with programme objectives, technical constraints and remediation outcomes

Required Experience

* Proven experience operating as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager or similar delivery-focused role
* Strong technology and data background
* Experience working closely with engineering and architecture teams
* Strong understanding of data platforms, data architecture and technical delivery environments
* Banking or Financial Services experience is strongly preferred
* Experience within remediation, regulatory, compliance or data quality programmes
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Agile/Scrum delivery experience

This role would suit someone who has evolved from technical/data delivery into Product Ownership rather than a traditional digital or customer-facing Product Owner background.

Outside IR35 contract with hybrid working involving a mixture of remote delivery and onsite client workshops in London.
