A highly respected West End boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Court of Protection Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate lawyer to work on high-quality, complex matters within a supportive and well-established private client department.

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload of Court of Protection work, including:

• Deputyship applications and administration
• Advising on personal welfare and property/financial affairs decisions
• Acting for protected parties, families, and professional deputies
• Complex capacity issues and best-interests disputes
• Liaising with medical professionals, case managers, financial advisers, and litigation teams
• Managing ongoing deputyship matters and preparing statutory reports

About You

The firm is looking for someone who:

• Has 3-6 years' PQE in Court of Protection work (but all strong candidates considered)
• Is confident managing their own caseload with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates empathy, practicality, and excellent client-handling skills
• Has strong technical knowledge and a collaborative working style
• Ideally has experience with high-net-worth or high-complexity matters (not essential)
