Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer - Chelmsford

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing Chelmsford office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a residential property specialist looking to take on a key role within an expanding team, with scope to build strong relationships locally and contribute to business development initiatives.

The Role

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients on a range of property matters
• Developing relationships with local agents and professional contacts
• Supporting business development and contributing to office growth
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
• Maintaining high standards of client care, documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years PQE with solid residential conveyancing experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks (SRA, CQS)
• A proactive approach to networking and business development
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
