Conveyancing Solicitor (Residential & Commercial Property)

A reputable and expanding law firm in Stratford, East London is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy Property department. The Role

As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload covering both residential and commercial property work. This will include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, transfers of equity, lease extensions, landlord and tenant matters, as well as commercial leases and acquisitions. You will liaise directly with clients, lenders, and other third parties, delivering excellent service while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
This position is 100% office-based at the firm's Stratford office. Please note there is no hybrid or remote working for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a mixed caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other property documentation.
• Conducting title checks, searches, and due diligence for property transactions.
• Acting for landlords, tenants, developers, and investors in commercial property deals.
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth completion of matters.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in both residential and commercial property law.
• Sound knowledge of freehold, leasehold, and commercial conveyancing processes.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client care skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
