About the Role
This role is ideal for a solicitor with 2 to 6 years' post-qualification experience seeking to work on a high-quality and varied caseload within a respected contentious private client team. The successful candidate will handle matters including:

  • Disputes relating to wills, trusts, and estate administration
  • Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
  • Challenges to wills on grounds such as capacity and undue influence
  • Removal of executors or trustees and breach of trust claims
  • Court of Protection disputes


The role involves working with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, trustees, beneficiaries, and charities, with opportunities to contribute to business development activities.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2-6 years' PQE in contentious trust and probate or related private client litigation
  • A strong academic background and comprehensive technical knowledge
  • Excellent client care and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and complex matters professionally
  • Strong commercial awareness and enthusiasm for professional development
  • The ability to work independently while being a collaborative and proactive team member
