An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Contentious Probate Solicitor (2-3 years PQE) to join the Private Client Disputes team of a prestigious London law firm. The team is recognised for handling high-value and complex disputes, particularly those involving trusts, estates, and international elements.

The Role


You will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of contentious probate and trust disputes, often with a cross-border dimension. Matters include:

  • High-value estate disputes and will challenges
  • Contentious trusts and breach of trust claims
  • Inheritance Act claims
  • Disputes involving family wealth, succession planning, and offshore assets
  • Advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, often with an international footprint


This role will give you exposure to challenging, high-profile cases and the opportunity to develop your expertise in a supportive and dynamic team environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-3 years' PQE (contentious trusts and probate focus)
  • Demonstrable experience handling complex probate and trust disputes
  • Strong technical knowledge of private client litigation
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships with sensitivity and discretion
  • Exposure to international/private wealth disputes is highly advantageous
