A leading international law firm is seeking a talented 2-5 PQE Construction Disputes Lawyer to join its highly regarded Construction & Engineering team in London. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a top-tier contentious construction practice handling some of the most complex and high‑value disputes in the UK and internationally.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team advising on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including:

  • Technology and Construction Court (TCC) litigation
  • Domestic and international arbitration
  • Adjudication, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution
  • Disputes arising out of major infrastructure, energy, transport and commercial development projects
  • Claims involving defects, delay, professional negligence, contractual interpretation and project performance issues

The role provides exposure to high-profile mandates, cross-border work, and sophisticated legal issues alongside market-leading lawyers.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking an individual who demonstrates:

  • 2-5 years' PQE in contentious construction
  • Experience in TCC proceedings, arbitration, or adjudication
  • Solid understanding of standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
  • Strong drafting, analytical and case-management skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively and manage demanding workloads
  • A commercial mindset and strong client-handling approach

Experience with large-scale energy, infrastructure or engineering disputes is advantageous.
