Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, asset management, and lease negotiations for landlords and tenants.

• Support complex transactions by drafting reports, certificates, and key legal documentation, alongside conducting detailed due diligence.

• Work closely with partners and senior lawyers within the Real Estate team, as well as cross-practice colleagues in development, finance, planning, and disputes.

• Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring clear communication, accurate updates, and strong client care throughout each matter.

• Contribute to team performance through billing targets, time recording, and supporting wider business development initiatives.

Requirements

• 2-5 years' PQE as a Commercial Property Solicitor (or commercial real estate solicitor) within a recognised real estate practice.

• Strong academic background with excellent drafting, technical and analytical legal skills.

• Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex property issues in a clear, commercial manner.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and deliver effectively under pressure.

• Client-focused mindset with an interest in business development and building long-term professional relationships.
