We are working with a highly regarded London practice to appoint a Commercial Property Lawyer to its successful team. The firm is known for delivering exceptional service across all aspects of commercial property, offering high-quality work and a supportive, collaborative culture.

The Role:

  • Transaction management: Advise clients across a wide range of commercial property matters, managing an active caseload from start to finish.
  • Acquisitions and disposals: Handle the purchase and sale of commercial properties, freehold land and buildings.
  • Leases and portfolio management: Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial leases; support clients with portfolio and asset management.
  • Development and planning: Manage property development, site options, regeneration and planning-related matters.
  • Finance and investment: Advise on commercial financing, asset purchases and joint-venture transactions.
  • Client care: Deliver clear, pragmatic advice with excellent service standards, tailored to commercial pressures.
  • Compliance and quality: Ensure accuracy, reliability and adherence to risk, regulatory and quality procedures.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the business; contribute to firm-wide projects.
  • Business development: Assist with marketing, networking and new business initiatives; maintain and grow client relationships.

About You:

  • Experienced lawyer (6-10 PQE): Strong general real estate background with broad commercial property expertise.
  • Confident professional: Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Commercially minded: Skilled at balancing legal precision with business objectives.
  • Client-focused communicator: Strong interpersonal skills to build and nurture lasting relationships.
  • Organised and proactive: Strong planning ability and a track record of meeting targets.

Benefits & Working Pattern:

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home (after probation).
