Commercial Manager - Digital / Data / AI - public sector - London (Hybrid) - Inside IR35 - SC Clearance

Our government client is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to support ongoing procurement activity across a range of digital, data and AI-related programmes.

Due to the nature and urgency of the role, candidates with active SC clearance would be preferred.

This is an exciting role where you will

• Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes in line with public sector regulations
• Provide commercial advice and guidance to internal stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement legislation and internal governance
• Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies
• Draft and review procurement documentation, including specifications, evaluation criteria, and contract terms
• Engage with suppliers and manage commercial relationships effectively
• Work closely with legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure robust procurement outcomes

• Proven experience managing procurement from planning through to contract award
• Experience of Data, Digital and AI procurement would be highly desirable
• Familiarity with public sector frameworks and routes to market
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working as part of a wider commercial and programme delivery team
