My client is a boutique law firm devoted to sports arbitration and litigation and are known to stand alone as the world's pre-eminent law firm of choice for athletes and defendants in anti-doping disputes, litigation resolving sports and commercial disputes and arbitration providing advice across a whole spectrum of issues.

The firm has grown rapidly since then and now comprises the largest dedicated sports disputes resolution team in Europe. The firm has, in that time, successfully acted in many of the world's highest profile sports disputes.

The Team

The role
The role involves a broad range of commercial litigation and sports arbitration, both domestically and internationally. The firm have a strong background in successfully defending high-profile clients in landmark doping cases and provided strategic advice on various disputes with expertise representing clients before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and other arbitration bodies.

Responsibilities & the ideal candidate: -

  • The firm boasts a proven track record in defending prominent clients in significant doping cases and offers strategic counsel on various disputes, with expertise in representing clients before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and other arbitration entities.
  • You will have a solid business case of £300k+ on joining and will be fully supported in the team to ensure you are in a great position to guide clients through the complexities of sports law, ensuring their interests are protected and their objectives achieved.
  • We seek candidates from reputable commercial firms, preferably in the City, with robust experience in commercial litigation, particularly those with a focus on international arbitration or regulatory matters.
  • Candidates from specialized boutique firms are especially encouraged to apply; we welcome applications from Partners or Senior Associates with 10-20 years of PQE, as well as those with strong profiles just outside this range.
  • Business Development will be essential.
