Job Title: Azure Cloud Ops Engineer / Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Location: London, Hybrid, 1 day per week in office (additional days for workshops)
Rate: Up to £500 per day
Duration: Initial 6-month contract, OUTSIDE IR35 (possible extension)

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Ops Engineer / Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join a Digital Transformation programme. This role requires proven hands-on technical leadership and the ability to deliver within complex environments.

Key Requirements:

• Deep expertise in Azure cloud platforms and services, including Azure AD, Networking, Security, and operational tooling
• As we transition to a predominantly Azure-based cloud infrastructure, we're looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Ops Engineer) to support and drive this transformation.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates)
• Skilled in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Azure DevOps)
• Practical experience with monitoring and management tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Leveraged Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric to deliver an integrated data platform supporting advanced analytics and reporting for the Dynamics 365 CE implementation.
• Supporting a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) implementation, integrating Azure Databricks for data transformation, cleansing, and migration activities across multiple environments.
• Experience integrating cloud solutions with ITSM platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud security practices and compliance with standards (ISO, GDPR)
• Must demonstrate relevant examples of hands-on technical leadership in previous roles
• Experience with operationalizing Azure cloud environments, including incident resolution, automation, and BAU support
