Senior Associate / Legal Director - Clinical Negligence | London
A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Associate or Legal Director (7+ PQE) to join its highly respected Clinical Negligence team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-value claimant clinical negligence cases, with real autonomy and scope to shape your practice.
The Role:
- Running a caseload of serious and high-value clinical negligence claims, including catastrophic injury, birth injury, surgical error, delayed diagnosis and mismanagement of treatment.
- Leading strategy on complex litigation and ensuring excellent client service.
- Supervising junior team members and contributing to wider team development.
- Driving business development initiatives, networking and raising the profile of the practice.
- Bringing a portable client following or demonstrating the ability to be self-sufficient in generating and managing your own caseload.
About You:
- Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' post-qualification experience in claimant clinical negligence.
- Proven track record of handling high-value, complex clinical negligence claims, including catastrophic injury.
- Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong referral networks and client relationships.
- Either a portable following of clients or the ability to bring in and run your own caseload independently.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Strong client care skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
