The Role:
You'll take ownership of major insurance coverage disputes and help shape strategy on some of the most significant matters in the market.
- Lead and manage high-value coverage disputes across business interruption, construction, political risk, and D&O claims.
- Advise corporates and banks on insurance solutions in large-scale transactions, including M&A and credit risk coverage.
- Work closely with partners to define litigation and settlement strategy, often across multiple jurisdictions.
- Use cutting-edge internal tools such as Best Delivery and Legal Project Management to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Contribute to client development and mentor junior associates within the practice.
Who We're Looking For:
The firm is looking for a strategic, commercially astute lawyer with deep expertise in insurance litigation and coverage disputes, capable of leading complex matters and providing high-level advice to major clients.
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 2-8 years' PQE in insurance litigation or coverage disputes.
- A strong background advising on complex, cross-border cases or contentious regulatory matters.
- Confident leading negotiations, advising senior stakeholders, and managing client relationships.
- Commercially minded, strategic, and collaborative - someone who thrives in a high-performing, international environment.
