Henderson Scott Finance and Accounting are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a services company located near to Cannock, Staffordshire.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role provides you the opportunity to grow in a successful business and receive mentor-ship from a qualified and aspiring manager.

Key areas of responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage supplier payments and reconcile accounts.Accruals and prepayments
• Accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciling bank statements

Your Profile:

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Excellent intuitive skills for identifying issues and solving problems proactively.
• Proficient in accounting to generate accurate reports and ensure compliance.
• Ability to implement new processes to improve efficiency and streamline operations.

Salary and benefits

• £32,000
• 25 days holiday plus BH
• 37.5 hour week (Mon - Fri 9-5)
• Study support considered if required
